I'm not gonna lie, I kind of forgot about this blog for a few months. BUT because that means I have a pretty good backlog of art to post maybe I'll manage to update more than twice a year! Maybe.
Quicky watercolor sketch looking out over the Ohio river. I did another painting during this session but I hate it, and you can tell I was getting bored while painting it as I gave up trying to make it look cohesive and just started doodling houses in the corner.
In case you're wondering where the river is, it's that yellow-ish streak towards the left. I felt like the roaming herd of children watching me (which is what happens you get when you paint in a public park) weren't very impressed.
I went to Convergence this past weekend, and as I tend to do at cons, spent a lot of time drawing while listening to panels. Below are the results. One scan is one page, and except for the city, which took a bit longer, I didn't spend longer than an hour on anything.
If you're looking at this and wondering just how many pens/pencils/markers live in my purse, the answer is LOTS.
